1974A contract was awarded for the construction of an addition to the Sawyer Free Library.Arts and Culture, Location and Setting, Buildings & Architecture, Cultural Institutions
The library corporation raised $500,000 in donations, the city appropriated $650,000, and the federal government gave $150,000. The newly constructed building was opened in 1976.
