In previous years, Halfdan M. Hanson designed Henry Davis Sleeper’s summer residence, Beauport, at Eastern Point and established lifelong connections with Sleeper and his acquaintances on Eastern Point, including Caroline Sinkler and A. Piatt Andrew. When he opened his office on Main Street, he had many clients in the Bass Rocks, Brier Neck, Eastern Point, and downtown neighborhoods of Gloucester, but also in Rockport, Magnolia, Manchester, Beverly, and the Boston area.
