Captain Thomas commanded the Schooner Mysteric, Schooner Horace B. Parker, Schooner Elmer E. Gray, and Schooner Thomas S. Gorton during his 32-year career. He was the manager at Gloucester Cold Storage until his death on June 30, 1925.
