Students together at Umberto Romano’s school, Judith and Gordon fell in love and settled on Rocky Neck. They were both active members of the art community there. Gordon was instrumental in setting up the Rocky Neck Art Colony’s artist residency program and headed it for ten years. The program is now named after him.
