The repair plan involved installing reinforced concrete grade beams or pilings under the stands and geotextile fabric under the track straightaway to better stabilize it. Other work included new paving beneath the bleachers and around the building housing the restrooms, and a full refurbishing of the track. The stands opened again on October 12, 2018, five weeks into the high school’s fall sports season.
