Old Home Week was celebrated July 27, 1902, with participation from the Annisquam Yacht Club, First Parish Church, Lanesville Universalist Parish, and the Chapel Street Baptist Church among other groups. In the end, it was not celebrated city-wide as was the original plan, however, leaders of religious services devoted their sermons on that Sunday to the theme of the celebration.
