“The Goldbergs” was created, written, and starred in by Gertrude Berg and was broadcast first as a radio program and later as a television show. It featured the home life of an upwardly mobile Jewish family in the Bronx.

Berg stayed at the Magnolia Manor for her visit to Gloucester.
