Kalman Kubinyi, Hall’s husband, was her partner in the gallery. It was a gathering place for artists, writers, and intellectuals to discuss new ideas. The upper floor of the building housing the gallery had summer rentals, often occupied by artists and their families. A space outside the building was used for artists’ demonstrations and gatherings.
