Most of the members of the band were Finnish immigrants and included Charles Glover, director, Jacob Soltti, Natt Nikola, Toivo Nikola, Oscar Tuikka, Isaac Ojantakanen, Andrew Jacobsen, Jacob Suutari, John Jacobson, and John Wallius. During the summers, the band rode in open trolley cars to play in all the neighborhoods around the Cape.
